This policy explains how Clario Search uses cookies and similar technologies on clariosearch.com. We use very few, and we ask before loading anything non-essential, in line with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. "Similar technologies" includes things like local storage. They can be essential (needed for the site to work) or non-essential (used for things like embedded content, analytics or advertising, which require your consent).
How we use them
We deliberately keep our use of cookies minimal. Here's the full picture:

We do not use advertising cookies, Google Analytics, the Meta/Facebook Pixel, or any cross-site tracking. The only third-party cookies come from the Google booking calendar, and only if you choose to load it.
A note on Google Search Console
We use Google Search Console to measure how our own site performs in search results. This is a behind-the-scenes tool, it does not place cookies on your device when you visit our website.
Managing your choices
When you first visit, we ask whether to allow the non-essential (Google booking) cookies. You can:
- Change your mind any time, clear your browser's site data for clariosearch.com to reset your choice, and we'll ask again.
- Control cookies in your browser, all major browsers let you block or delete cookies. See aboutcookies.org for step-by-step guides. Note that blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.
- Book without cookies, if you'd rather not load the embedded calendar, you can always email or call us instead.
